PIL has confirmed an order for 4 new ships of 14,400 teu at Jiangnan Shipyard Group on 4 March 2022, its first new ship order since 2015. The 4 ships will be quipped with dual-fuel engines to run on both LNG and low sulphur fuel oil and will be delivered from the 2nd half of 2024 to 1st half 2025.
