MSC deepens Russia network with new St Petersburg feeder links with China

MSC has increased its exposure to the Russian market with a new China to St Petersburg relay service via Klaipeda and Antwerp. With a total capacity of over 8,000 teu per week, MSC has further solidified its position as the largest carrier in the Russia Baltic market that it has maintained despite the ongoing European Union sanctions against Russia. MSC has deployed the 4,112 teu MSC VAISHNAVI R. on the Klaipeda-St Petersburg feeder service since 27 May 2023 with the frequency improved in July

Safetrans/OVP/Mountain Air launch Med-Baltic and Black Sea feeder services

Safetrans, OVP Shipping and Mountan Air Shipping have launched two new feeder services to provide relay connections for their joint service from China to connect to the Russan market through the Baltic and Black Sea gateways of St Petersburg and Novorossiysk. The Med-Baltic Feeder will connect Ambarli and St Petersburg and currently deploys 3 ships from OVP - OVP ARIES (2,464 teu), ALLSEAS PIONEER (1,878 teu), HUA XIANG 936 (1,675 teu). 2 more ships will be added in July 2023 with the frequency

Safetrans Line launch St Petersburg Direct Service from China

Safetrans Line will launch a new St Petersburg Direct Service from China. The St Petersburg Direct Service will start from 27 February 2023 and will connect Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Tangier (irregular), St Petersburg, Qingdao.
