The active containership fleet increased slightly over the past week due to the reduction in port congestion, with about 400,000 teu coming out of the congestion queue.

PIL has confirmed an order for 4 new ships of 14,400 teu at Jiangnan Shipyard Group on 4 March 2022, its first new ship order since 2015.
