CUL launch South China-HCMC link

China United Lines (CUL) has launched a new China-Vietnam link branded as the China-Vietnam Express III (CV5) using the chartered 1,113 teu OCEAN GRACE. The service connects Nansha, Shekou and Ho Chi Minh City, with the first sailing from Nansha on 20 December 2021. The service turns in around 10 days.

NBOSCO & CUL to launch new China Vietnam Thailand (CVT) service

Ningbo Ocean Shipping (NBOSCO) and China United Lines (CUL) will launch a new China Vietnam Thailand (CVT) service from 30 December 2021. The service will connect Jiaxing, Ningbo, Xiamen, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Jiaxing using 3 ships of 1,800 teu. NBOSCO will provide the 1,868 teu XIN MING ZHOU 98 and XIN MING ZHOU 102 while CUL will deploy its newly chartered 1,762 teu INDURO on this new service. Port rotation of the new CVT service

BAL Container Line has launched a new South China-Vietnam Express (SVX) service that connects Nansha, Da Chan Bay and Ho Chi Minh City. The 706 teu BAL STAR initiated the service at Nansha on 18 December 2021. Emirates, CUL & GFS to launch new Vietnam Gulf India service

Emirates Shipping (ESL), China United Lines (CUL) and Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) will jointly launch a new Vietnam Gulf India/Vietnam-Gulf Express (VGI/VGX) service in January 2022. The service will turn in 5 weeks and call at Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Port Klang, Sohar, Jebel Ali, Nhava Sheva, Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh City. 4 ships will be used initially with one blank sailing in each 5 week cycle. Samudera starts Singapore-Nhava Sheva service

Samudera has started a new Singapore-Nhava Sheva service using 2 ships of 1,800 teu, the SINAR SUNDA and SINAR SORONG. The service is branded as the Nhava Sheva Singapore Express (NSX) with COSCO and ONE already signed up to take slots on the service, with COSCO retaining the NSX name while ONE calls the service Singapore India Express (SIX). The first sailing started on 13 December 2021 from Singapore.

Gold Star Line (GSL), OOCL and PIL have launched a new service connecting China and Malaysia, marketed respectively as the CM1, CSS3 and CSS. The service was originally scheduled to start on 18 December but the first sailing was delayed at 24 December, serving Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Nansha, Singapore, Port Klang, Penang, Port Klang, Pasir Gudang, Nansha, Qingdao.
