Folk Maritime upgrades India Gulf Service (IGS)

Folk Maritime has upgraded the India Gulf Service (IGS) connecting Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Dammam, Umm Qasr, Nhava Sheva from December 2024 to a regular weekly service. The service was first launched in 23 October 2024 with the 1,809 teu ASTERIOS on a 14-18 day frequency. The service has been upgraded to a weekly frequency  with a second ship, the 1,930 teu BORKUM, joining the service at Nhava Sheva from 16 December 2024.

RCL and BTL launch West India-Gulf (RWG) service

Regional Container Line (RCL) and Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) have launched a new RCL West India-Gulf (RWG) service connecting Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Umm Qasr, Mundra. The RWG service will turn in 21 days and will deploy 3 ships of 2,500-2,700 teu starting with the 2,588 teu VIRA BHUM at Mundra on 16 October 2024, followed by the 2,702 teu INTERSEA TRAVELER. BTL revises ISI service rotation

Bengal Tiger Line has added a new call at Jebel Ali on its India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) service, replacing the Dammam call. The ISI service was first launched on 8 February 2023 to connect Mundra, Dammam, Umm Qasr, Mundra on a fortnightly basis using the 929 teu XO LUCKY. A new westbound call at Kandla was added on 13 April 2023 and the latest change will add a new eastbound call at Jebel Ali from 15 June 2023.
