Sealand Asia, the intra-Asia regional carrier of Maersk, will launch a new weekly IA11 service connecting Taiwan, East China and Vietnam in August. RCL/CUL adds Sihanoukville call on revised RBC1 service

RCL and CUL have added a new call at Sihanoukville on their jointly operated RBC1/BC1  (RCL Bangkok China 1/China-Thailand Service 1) service. The revised rotation of the RBC1/BC1 will be Ningbo, Shanghai, Sihanoukville, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Ho Chi Minh City, Ningbo starting from 10 August 2023. The service turns in 3 weeks, and currently deploys 2 ships of 1,200-1,500 from RCL and one 1,930 teu ship from CUL.

Harbour Link adds Qinzhou link on Hong Kong Malaysia Express (HMX)

Malaysian carrier Harbour Link has added a new link connecting Qinzhou in Guangxi to its Hong Kong Malaysia Express (HMX) service from 11 July 2023. The Qingzhou call will initially be made monthly on the HMX that deploys the 735 teu HARBOUR STAR and HARBOUR HORIZON. The HMX service operates on a 14 day turnaround to call weekly at Hong Kong, Nansha, Kota Kinabalu, Muara, Bintulu, Qinzhou (monthly call), Hong Kong

Wan Hai withdraws Japan Korea Haiphong (JKH) service

Wan Hai's Japan Korea Haiphong (JKH) service will be withdrawn with the last sailing by the 1,510 teu WAN HAI 281 that will end at Shekou on 2 July 2023. The service deployed 3 ships of 1,500-1,800 teu on a 21 days round trip that called at Moji, Hakata, Ulsan, Busan, Kwangyang, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Nansha, Haiphong, Qinzhou, Hong Kong, Shekou, Xiamen, Moji.

Namsung, ONE, PIL & TSL team up to launch Korea-China-Straits (NFS/KC2/KCS/KMV2) service

Namsung, ONE, PIL and TS Lines are coming together to launch a new Korea-China-Straits service starting from 6 July 2023. The new service will call at Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Port Klang, Penang, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Nansha, Busan using 4 ships of 2,000-2,900 teu, with each partner to deploy one ship each. CNC, the intra-Asia arm of CMA CGM, has introduced a new South China-Philippines CP3 service that will start from 30 June 2023 to call at Shekou, Hong Kong, Subic Bay, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Kaohsiung, Shekou. The service turns in 14 days using 2 ships, the 1,781 teu SHENG AN and 1,952 teu CNC JUPITER. CP3 service rotation

TS Lines partners Maersk on NV2 service

TS Lines has introduced a new North Vietnam 2 (NV2) service in a partnership with Maersk/Sealand Asia. The service calls at Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Haiphong, Hong Kong, Ningbo using 2 ships of 1,000 teu. TS Lines's chartered 987 teu ORTOLAN EPSILON made its maiden call at Ningbo on 30 May 2023 for one voyage, joining Maersk's 1,049 teu ASIATIC SUN on the service. TS Line will replace the ship with the TS HAIPHONG and TS KOBE subsequently in June.

CNC, the intra-Asia subsidiary of CMA CGM, is launching a North China Booster service that connects Dalian, Qingdao, Busan, Kwangyang, Busan, Dalian. The new feeder service  will turn in 7 days using the 1,708 teu CNC BANGKOK that will phase in at Dalian on 30 June 2023.

ASEAN Seas Line (ASL), China United Lines (CUL) and Pacific International Lines (PIL) have teamed up to launch a new jointly operated Intra-Asia service calling at Shekou, Nansha, Xiamen, Manila North, Subic Bay, Xiamen, Shekou, Nansha, Ho Chi Minh City, Shekou.
