CMA CGM and its intra-Asia arm CNC has introduced a new China Vietnam Express 8 (CV8) service calling at Shanghai, Ningbo, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai from 28 December 2024. The CV8 service turns in 14 days and deploys the 2,058 teu CMA CGM ESCURIAL and 1,756 teu KUO LIN.
SITC has launched a new Beibu Gulf-Vietnam Express (BVX) service connecting Haiphong, Qinzhou, Haiphong from 16 December 2024. The service turns in 3-4 days using the 588 teu VIMC PIONEER.

Sinotrans has launched a new China Vietnam Thailand 1 (CVT1) service calling at Nansha, Hong Kong, Shekou, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang, Nansha from 4 December 2024. The CVT1 turns in 14 days using 2 ships of 1,000 teu with the 1,024 teu OPTIMA and 1,040 teu SINOTRANS TIANJIN.
Ningbo Ocean Shipping (NBOSCO) has launched a new Ningb0-Zhapu-Busan service from 15 October 2024. The service turns weekly with the 629 teu KAI PING on a 7 day rotation. The service calls at the Intergis terminal in Busan, Daxie terminal in Ningbo and Jiaxing port in Zhapu.
CMA CGM/CNC and COSCO have launched a new Thailand Indonesia Service (TIX2/MTS) connecting Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Jakarta, Pasir Gudang, Singapore, Bangkok from 14 October 2024. The TIX2/MTS will turn in 14 days using the 1,032 teu PADIAN 3 from CMA CGM and 1,200 teu DANUM 175 from COSCO.
FESCO has launched a new Fesco Intra-Asia Service (FIAS) connecting Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh City, Port Klang with further connections to FESCO's services to Russia via Ho Chi Minh City for northbound connections to Vladivostok and via Port Klang for westbound connections to Novorossiysk and St Petersburg. Regional Container Lines (RCL) and TS Lines (TSL) will launch a new South China-Thailand service calling at Nansha, Shekou, Laem Chabang, Bangkok (PAT and Sahathai), Nansha from 22 October 2024. The service will be branded by RCL as the RCL Bangkok-South China (RBS) and will turn in 2 weeks using the 1,707 PIYA BHUM and a second ship from TSL with the service name still to be announced.
Sinotrans has launch a new Shantou-Philippines Service 1 (SPS1) calling at Shantou, Hong Kong, Shekou, Manila (S), Shantou from 12 September 2024. The service turns in 7 days and deployed the 698 teu HAI SU 7 for an initial voyage on 12 September before it is replaced by the sistership HAI SU 6 from 19 September 2024. Sinotrans has taken both of these ships on charter from Antong, who is a fellow subsidiary of the China Merchants Group.
Asean Seas Line (ASL) will add a new Bangkok Thailand Express (BTX) service from 21 September 2024 by joing Zim/GSL on the latter's existing South China Thailand Express (SXT) service connecting Nansha, Dachan Bay, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Cai Mep, Nansha.
