GFS partners SeaLead on new Spain Turkiye Morocco (STM) service

Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) and SeaLead have launched a new Spain Turkiye Morocco (STM) service connecting Ambarli, Gebze, Aliaga, Barcelona, Valencia, Algeciras, Casablanca, Tanger, Valencia, Barcelona, Ambarli. The service will turn in 3 weeks and deploys 3 ships of 1,100 to 1,400 teu starting with the 1,440 teu GFS SAPPHIRE at Ambarli on 20 September 2024, followed by the 1,440 teu CAPE FULMAR and 1,134 teu SSF LILY. ESL, GFS, KMTC and TSL to launch new South China-Middle East Gulf Express (SMX) service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL), Global Feeder Shipping (GFS), KMTC and TS Lines (TSL) will launch a new South China-Middle East Express (SMX/Sirius/AIM3) service calling at Nansha, Dachan Bay, Port Klang, Jebel Ali, Hamad, Nansha from 8 November 2024. The SMX/Sirius/AIM3 will turn in 35 days and deplaus 5 ships of 3,000 to 4,400 teu, starting with the 4,395 teu REN JIAN 27 from KMTC at Nansha on 8 November 2024, following by the 4,395 teu REN JIAN 16 and REN JIAN 19 from ESL, 2,954 teu TS COLOMBO

New China-East Africa service starts on 6 November 2023

The new China-East Africa service jointly operated by ESL, GFS, IAL, KMTC, RCL and TSL will start from 6 November 2023  calling at Qingao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Port Klang, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Port Klang, Qingdao on a 56 day rotation using up to 8 ships of 2,400-3,000 teu. 6 carriers to launch new China-East Africa service

ESL, GFS, IAL, KMTC, RCL and TSL will jointly launch a new China-East Africa service starting from November 2023. The service will call at Qingao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Port Klang, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Port Klang, Qingdao on a 56 day rotation using up to 8 ships of 2,400-3,000 teu. The service will be branded as the RCL East Africa (REA) service by RCL while the other partners to the service have not yet announced their assigned service names.

Vietnam Gulf India (VGI) upgrade - CMA CGM joins as vessel operator

The Vietnam Gulf India/RCL Gulf Asean/Vietnam Gulf Express/Saigon Gulf Service (VGI/RGA/VGX/SGS) service jointly operated by ESL, KMTC, RCL, CU Lines and Global Feeder Shipping will be upgraded from the 2,500 teu scale to 5,500 teu starting from September 2023, with CMA CGM joining as the 6th partner in the service who brands it as the Vietnam Gulf India (VGI) service. TS Lines add Asia Indian Subcontinent 2 (AIS2) service

TS Lines (TSL)has added a new Asia Indian Subcontinent 2 (AIS2) service after it joined Sinokor and Global Feeder Service (GFS) on their jointly operated Sinokor India Service 2 (SIS 2) / China Sub Continent (CSC) service. TS Lines replaced SeaLead as a partner on this service after the latter pulled out from the service in December 2022. PIL introduces Gulf China Service 2 (GC2) through slots on GALEX

PIL has introduced a new Gulf China Service 2 (GC2) through a slot arrangement with ESL on the Galex service. The service is jointly operated by Emirates Shipping Line (ESL), Global Feeder Shipping (GFS), KMTC and RCL using 7 ships of 6,500-8,500 teu with a full rotation that calls at Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Dachan Bay, Port Klang, Khor Fakkan, Jebel Ali, Sohar, Qingdao, Busan. AD Ports launch new Pakistan-Gulf-Red Sea-East Africa service

The 3 AD Ports shipping companies - Safeen Feeders, Transmar and Global Feeder Shippping (GFS) - will launch a new service connecting Karachi, Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, Adabiya, Port Sudan, Djibouti. Maersk/GFS launch Shaheen Express

Maersk and Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) will launch a new Intra ME/ISC service that will cover Jebel Ali, Dammam, Jebel Ali, Mundra, Pipavav, Jebel Ali with two ships, the 1,740 teu BIG DOG and 1,613 teu GFS RANNA (ex HERA). BIG DOG will phase in on 29 November 2022 at Jebel Ali while GFS RANNA, coming out of drydock, will phase in also at Jebel Ali on 6 December 2022. AD Ports acquires controlling stake in Global Feeder Shipping

AD Ports have agreed to buy an 80% stake in Dubai based Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) on 3 November 2022 for a total  consideration of $800m, implying a total valuation of $1 Bn for GFS. In the last 12 months, GFS recorded total revenues of $1,085m, EBITDA of $521m and Net Profit of $481m, with an EV/EBITDA multiple of 1.9x for the transaction.
