ASL and ESL team up in revised North China Philippines Express (NPX2/NPX)

Asean Seas Line (ASL) and Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) will team up on the new North China Philippines Express (NPX2/NPX) service calling at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Manila (S), Qingdao. The service will commence on 6 February 2023 at Qingdao and will turn in 2 weeks using the 848 teu PACIFIC GRACE and 1,118 teu VIMC DIAMOND. ESL to lauch 2 Indonesia feeder services through slots on RCL

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) will launch 2 services connecting its Southeast Asia hub of Port Klang with the Indonesian ports of Jakarta and Surabaya in January 2023. The JKT service connecting Port Klang, Jakarta, Port Klang will start on 6 January 2023 and the SUB service connecting Port Klang, Surabaya, Port Klang will start from 8 January 2023. Both of these services are offered through a slot arrangement with RCL who are operating the feeder services as part of its ASEAN feeders network.

PIL/CUL/ESL/KMTC/RCL/Wan Hai upgrade Middle East Gulf-China Service

The Middle East Gulf-China service that is jointly operated by a consortium of 6 carriers (PIL/CUL/ESL/KMTC/RCL/Wan Hai) will be upgraded from 9 January 2023 with new calls at Hamad and Singapore (westbound). The revised rotation will call at Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Shekou, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Hamad, Singapore, Shanghai. ESL/PIL adds new South China Philippines (SCP) service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) and Pacific International Lines (PIL) will launch a new South China Philippines (SCP) service connecting  Xiamen, Nansha, Shekou, Manila, Cebu, Xiamen from 3 January 2023. The SCP will turn in 2 weeks, using the 1,080 teu KOTA HAKIM from PIL and a second ship to be named from ESL. Port rotation of the new South China Philippines (SCP) service

ESL/IAL/TSL introduce China Malaysia (CMS/CMX)

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL), Interasia Lines (IAL) and TS Lines (TSL) will launch a new China Malaysia Service/China Malaysia Express (CMS/CMX) connecting Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Shekou, Port Klang (NP/WP), Penang, Port Klang (WP), Nansha, Hong Kong, Qingdao from 20 December 2022. The service will turn in 4 weeks using 4 ships of 1,700-2,600 teu.

ESL launch Jebel Ali Bahrain Shuwaikh Service (JBS)

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) has started a new Jebel Ali Bahrain Shuwaikh Service (JBS) calling at Jebel Ali, Bahrain (Khalifa Bin Salman Port), Shuwaikh, Jebel Ali. The service turns in 7 days on a weekly frequency. The service launched on 17 August 2022 with the 1,678 teu ESL VICTORIA that will make 2 round trips on the JBS before it is replaced by the 1,341 teu ESL ZANZIBAR. ESL starting JBS

Emirates Shipping Lines is starting a new Jebel Ali Bahrain Shuwaikh Service (JBS) calling at Jebel Ali, Bahrain, Shuwaikh, Jebel Ali. The service started with 1,678 teu ESL VICTORIA at Jebel Ali on 18 August 2022. Another vessel, 1,341 teu ESL ZANZIBAR, will be deployed to JBS as from 23 August 2022 at Jebel Ali to this service on weekly frequency.
