The crew of the 1,930 teu ASL BAUHINIA has abandoned the containership in the Red Sea on 28 January after it caught fire following an explosion on board the vessel on 27 January. The 2022 built ship is owned by Asean Seas Line and time chartered by Emirates Shipping Lines since October 2024. ONE has joined Emirates Shipping (ESL), Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) and KMTC on the Far East-Middle East GLX/GALEX/AIM service as a vessel operator from 1 November 2024. ONE has added the 6,765 teu HYUNDAI BUSAN to the service from 11 December 2024, replacing one of ESL's ships that form part of the 7 ships of 6,500 teu to 8,500 teu on the service. TS Lines and RCL also participate on the service as slot buyers.

Emirates Shipping Line has launched a new ESL Gulf Red Sea Connector (EGRC) service calling at Jebel Ali, Aqaba, Sokhna, Jeddah, Mundra, Jebel Ali from 28 May 2024. The rotation of the EGRC is not fixed and will differ between sailings. The EGRC will turn in around 30 days on an irregular frequency and deploys the 1,781 teu ASL TAIPEI and 1,930 teu ASL PEONY.

The new China-East Africa service jointly operated by ESL, GFS, IAL, KMTC, RCL and TSL will start from 6 November 2023 calling at Qingao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Port Klang, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Port Klang, Qingdao on a 56 day rotation using up to 8 ships of 2,400-3,000 teu. Several carriers have announced their participation in the new X-Press Feeders North China-India West Coast X-Press (NWX) service that is operated jointly with Maersk, which brands it as the FI3 (Far East-India 3) that will start from October 2023. ONE, ESL and Sinokor have all announced their participation in the service, branding it respectively by ONE as Northeast Asia to Pakistan and India (NPI), ESL as Far East West India (FWI) and Sinokor as the North China-India West Coast Express (NWX).
