STF Shipping introduce China-Russia Far East services

Newly established STF Shipping has launched 3 new China-Russia Far East service since August 2024, taking over CStar Line's services on this route. According to the company, STF stands for Safety, Timeliness and Flexibility and it has established its headoffice in Shanghai, with agency offices in Ningbo, Seoul, Vladivostok and Nakhodka. STF operates 6 containerships of 1,100 teu to 2,200 teu that were all transferred from CStar Line in August 2024, that are deployed on 5 separate services: *

CUL offers Far East-Red Sea service through slots on CStar & Uniglobal FEM1 service

China United Lines (CUL) has launched a Red Sea 1 (RS1) service connecting Qingdao, Shanghai, Nansha, Jeddah through slots on the Far East-Mediterraean Service (FEM1) operated by CStar Line and Uniglobal Shipping (UGL). The FEM1 service offers an extended service from China to Turkey via the Red Sea and Suez Canal calling at Qingdao, Shanghai, Nansha, Jeddah, Ambarli, Izmit, Jeddah, Port Klang, Qingdao. CStar announce winding down of Russia Far East services

CStar Line has informed its customers on 22 July 2024 that it will discontinue its services to Far East Russia from the end of September 2024 and refocus on its other remaining routes including its newly introduced services to the Red Sea. The withdrawal will affect CStar's 3 existing China-Far East Russia services: * FEFE1 calling at Yantian, Nansha, Xiamen, Shanghai, Vrangel Bay, Yantian that deploys 2 ships of 2,206 teu (MAO GANG QUAN ZHOU and MAO GANG GUANG ZHOU) * FEFE2 calling at Bu

CStar Line add Middle East Red Sea Service 1 (MER1)

CStar Line has launched a new Middle East Red Sea Service 1 (MER1) connecting Jebel Ali, Djibouti, Jeddah, Djibouti, Jebel Ali from 27 July 2024. The MER1 turns in 17 to 21 days and will deploy 2 ships of  1,638 teu (CSTAR FEVRONIYA and CSTAR PETER) on an irregular rolling schedule with a frequency of around 10 to 11 days.

Sinokor introduces new GRS service to Russia in partnership with CStar Line

Sinokor has launched a new Greater China-Russia Service (GRS) connecting Yantian, Nansha, Xiamen, Shanghai, Vostochny, Yantian from 3 September 2023 with the newly chartered 2,902 teu TB BRIGHT CITY. The new service will turn in 3 weeks and will operate in conjunction with 2 other ships operated by CStar Line (the 2,206 teu MAO GANG GUANG ZHOU and MAO GANG QUAN ZHOU) that will run on the same route, with CStar branding the services as the Far East-Far East Service 1 (FEFE1)

2 new entrants launch China-Turkey service

Two new entrants to the liner trades CStar Line and Uniglobal Shipping have jointly launched a new China-Turkey service aimed at the Russian market. The service calls at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Ambarli, Shanghai, Qingdao using 4 ships of 1,700-2,700 teu that will provide sailings on alternate weeks. The first sailing started from 26 July 2023 with the 1,714 teu BOX ENDEAVOUR that is operated by CStar Line and followed on 9 Aug 2023 by the 1,930 teu CUL LAEMCHABANG operated by Uniglo
