CNC launch new China Southeast Asia (CSE1) service

CNC Line, the intra-Asian subsidiary of CMA CGM, has launched a new China Southeast Asia (CSE1) service that connects Dalian, Incheon, Ningbo, Shanghai, Laem Chabang, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Manila, Quinhon, Chu Lai, Dalian The service started on 11 October 2022 with the 1,756 teu CNC PLUTO from Dalian. 4 ships of 1,012-1,952 teu are deployed on this service.

CMA CGM starting Manaus Shuttle

CMA CGM is launching Manaus Shuttle that will call  Cartagena (Col), Manzanillo (Pan), Macapa, Manaus, Macapa, Vila do Conde, Cartagena (Col) on 28 days round trip. The service will start with 2,564 teu CMA CGM PEMBA at Cartagena on Dec 2. These five ships currently deployed to Brazil Express and Brazil Express 2 have been assigned to this new service: 2,564 teu CMA CGM PEMBA, 2,556 teu CMA CGM PUERTO ANTIOQUIA, 2,546 teu BALLENITA, 3,534 teu BOMAR PRAIA, 3,091 teu LUTETIA.

CMA CGM revamp Brazex services

CMA CGM will revamp its existing BRAZEX 1 and BRAZEX 2 services that connects the US Gulf Coast with the Caribbeans and Brazil. The NEW BRAZEX will start from 11 November and call at New Orleans, Houston, Veracruz, Kingston, Cartagena, Salvador, Santos, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Cartagena, Kingston, New Orleans with 7 ships of 3,600-6,000 teu. CMA CGM to launch new Americas XL service

CMA CGM will launch a new Americas XL service that will connect Callao, San Antonio, Guayaquil, Cartagena, Port Everglades, Philadelphia, New York, Kingston, Buenaventura, Callao from 20 December 2022. The service is targetted at the refrigerated cargo exports from South America and it will deploy 6 ships of 3,000-4,000 teu with high reefer intakes of over 500 plug. CMA CGM will upgrade 3 of its existing Med-West Africa services with new rotations involving the MEDWAX, EURAF 3 and WAZZAN services. The new service details are as follows:- MEDWAX will operate in 35 days with 5 vessels of 2,200 to 2,800 teu calling at Tanger, Algeciras, Dakar, Conakry, Abidjan, Barcelona, Marseille, Valencia, Tanger from 29 October 2022. Containerships launches SWX2

Containerships, the European short sea subsidiary of CMA CGM, has launched the Sweden Express 2 (SWX2) connecting Bremerhaven, Gavle, Gdansk, Gdynia, Klaipeda, Norrkoping, Rauma, Wilhelmshaven, Bremerhaven. The new service will turn in 2 weeks using 2 ships of 907 teu, LINDA and AILA, both previously were deployed in the Intra-Northern European routes. The service will start with LINDA at Bremerhaven on 27 October.

COSCO to join CMA CGM on the new MedGulf Service

COSCO will join CMA CGM on the MedGulf Service that calls at Genoa, Valencia, Miami, Veracruz, Altamira, Houston, Tanger Med, Genoa. COSCO will add one of the six ships of 2,000-3,000 teu on this new service that is hitherto operated independently by CMA CGM. CMA CGM suspends Golden Gate Bridge service

CMA CGM has suspended further sailings on the Golden Gate Bridge (GGB) service that called at Kaohsiung, Shekou, Shanghai, Busan, Seattle, Oakland Kaohsiung with the last sailing from Busan on 15 Sep 2022 with the 9,415 teu CMA CGM MEDEA. The GGB service has been running on an irregular basis since April with departures every 2 weeks due to severe congestion at Oakland and Seattle. Containerships, the intra-Europe subsidiary of CMA CGM, has revised the rotation of 2 existing services that connects that UK and Ireland with the North Continent. The DUKE service will cover Germany and the UK East Coast as part of the revised BALT1 CS service, calling at Helsinki, Talinn, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Teesport, Rotterdam, Helsinki with the 850 teu CONTAINERSHIPS VIII and the 966 teu CONTAINERSHIPS VI. Containerships started ISX

Containerships started Irish Sea Express (ISX) that connects Dunkirk, Dublin, Greenock, Rotterdam, Dunkirk with two ships. 803 teu Ranger joined the service on Sep 1 at Greenock while 907 teu Linda joined on Sep 7 at Greenock.
