CMA CGM will upgrade its Mediterranean-Caribbean (MEDCARIBE) service with the addition of a new westbound call at Tanger from 5 March 2024 . The revised port rotation will call at Algeciras, Malta, Livorno, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia, Tanger Med, Fort-de-France, Pointe-a-Pitre, Caucedo, Kingston, Cartagena (Col), Buenaventura, Paita, Posorja, Guayaquil, Moin, Cartagena (Col), Algeciras. The Turkey Libya Express (TULYB) will be revised to call Aliaga, Gemlik, Ambarli, Alexandria, Misurata, Aliaga from 17 January 2024 on a 14 day rotation using 2 ships, the 1,122 teu JAGUAR and 1,114 teu ATLANTIC MERCHANT. CMA CGM and Maersk will launch the Ceiba Express (Ceiba/U7H) service calling at Port Everglades, Kingston, La Guaira, Puerto Cabello, Cartagena (Col), Puerto Cortes, Santo Tomas de Castilla, Port Everglades on 21 days round trip. The service will deploy 3 vessels starting with the 1,732 teu HANSA SALZBURG at Port Everglades on 14 January 2024, followed 1,691 teu MARFRET GUYANE and 2,564 teu CMA CGM PEMBA.

CMA CGM will launch a new North America-Morocco Express (NAMEX) service connecting Tanger Med, Halifax, New York, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Tanger Med from 9 January 2024. The seasonal service is aimed at the exports of fruit and vegetables from Morocco to North America. It will be operated as part of CMA CGM's Columbus JAX (CJX) service with the addition of new calls at Tanger Med as well as Philadephia. CMA CGM and COSCO have launched a new Asia Subcontinent Express 2 (AS2) service that connects Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Colombo, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Singapore, Shanghai from 16 November 2023. The AS2 will turn in 5 weeks using 5 ships of 4,200-6,300 teu, of which 4 ships are operated by CMA CGM (4,253 teu DERBY, 5,466 teu CMA CGM LEKKI, 6,350 teu APL MINNESOTA and TBN vessel)and 1 ship is from COSCO (5,085 teu COSCO NEW YORK).

CMA CGM'S intra-Asia arm CNC has upgraded the Korea China Southeast Asia (KCS) service to the 6,000-7,000 teu scale, making it the largest dedicated intra-Asia service alongside Maersk/Sealand Asia's IA-8 service that deploys ships in the 6,000 teu size. MSC has extended its lead at the top of the carrier rankings, with its current fleet reaching 5.36m teu, up from 4.61m teu at the beginning of January. Newbuilding deliveries contributed 557,000 teu to the increase, with the rest coming from second hand vessel acquisitions and new charters. MSC has grown at an average rate of 83,000 teu a month, with its lead over 2nd place Maersk rising to 1.24m teu.
