COSCO and X-Press Feeders have launched a new Eastern Caribbean Service (ECX)/Trinidad Guyana X-Press (TGX) service connecting Kingston, Caucedo, Port of Spain, Point Lisas, Georgetown, Paramaribo, Port of Spain, Kingston. The service will turn in 21 days and will deploy 3 ships of 900 teu starting with the 1,110 teu WIND from X-Press Feeders at Kingston on 25 January 2025 and the 1,296 teu AS FIORELLA from COSCO Shipping.
CMA CGM will upgrade its Mediterranean-Caribbean (MEDCARIBE) service with the addition of a new westbound call at Tanger from 5 March 2024 . The revised port rotation will call at Algeciras, Malta, Livorno, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Valencia, Tanger Med, Fort-de-France, Pointe-a-Pitre, Caucedo, Kingston, Cartagena (Col), Buenaventura, Paita, Posorja, Guayaquil, Moin, Cartagena (Col), Algeciras. Hannover Shipping has added a second ship to its Panama-Venezuela service connecting Colon, La Guaira, Puerto Cabello from 31 October 2023 with the introduction of the 642 teu ELLA Y. The new ship joins the 260 teu TOPAZ NEVA that has been deployed on the service since 25 May 2023.
Oceanus Line has launched a new Florida Gulf Express (FGX) service that connects Port Manatee, Freeport (Texas), Veracruz, Cartagena, Port Manatee on a fortnightly basis with the 1,740 teu X-PRESS COTOPAXI. The service started on 18 March 2023 at Cartagena, with an ad hoc call at Tuxpan enroute to Port Manatee on its inaugural voyage. Oceanus Line is based in Miami, Florida and was established in October 2022.
