BTL launch new Colombo-Mangalore service

Bengal Tiger Lines will introduce a new Colombo-Mangalore (GMT) service from 24 September 2024. The service will deploy the 1,368 teu TAKUTAI CHIEF that will connect Colombo's SAGT with Mangalore on a weekly basis.

BTL to launch Rio Grande-Buenos Aires-Montevideo (RBM) feeder for connections to HMM's FIL

Bengal Tiger Lines (BTL) will launch a new Rio Grande-Buenos Aires-Montevideo (RBM) feeder service from 22 May 2024. The RBM service will turn weekly with the 1,756 teu TIGER PLATA (ex MAHAWELI). It will provide connections at Rio Grande to and from Buenos Aires and Montevideo, serving primarily HMM's Far East-India-Latin Amerca (FIL) service that will be truncated with the existing calls at Buenos Aires and Montevideo removed while a new call at Rio Grande's Tecon terminal is added. BTL revises ISI service rotation

Bengal Tiger Line has added a new call at Jebel Ali on its India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) service, replacing the Dammam call. The ISI service was first launched on 8 February 2023 to connect Mundra, Dammam, Umm Qasr, Mundra on a fortnightly basis using the 929 teu XO LUCKY. A new westbound call at Kandla was added on 13 April 2023 and the latest change will add a new eastbound call at Jebel Ali from 15 June 2023. BTL introduces new India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) service

Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) has launched a new India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) service that connects Mundra, Dammam, Umm Qasr, Mundra. The service will start on 8 February 2023 with the 929 teu XO LUCKY at Mundra. The move will mark BTL's return to the India West Coast where it has appointed Oasis Shipping as its agent. Oasis is BTL's current agent in East and South India.

Hartnoll family interests reveal investments in BTL and CFS

HICO Investment Group, a privately owned trust fund owned by the Hartnoll family, revealed on 25 August 2022 that it has acquired the assets of Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) from CMIA Capital Partners.
