CMA CGM has withdrawn its new Turkey Libya Express (TLX) service after just 6 sailings from Asia to the Red Sea, Turkey and Libya. 2 new entrants launch China-Turkey service

Two new entrants to the liner trades CStar Line and Uniglobal Shipping have jointly launched a new China-Turkey service aimed at the Russian market. HMM will launch a new Far East-India-Med (FIM) service from 1 August 2023 that connects Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shekou, Singapore, Port Klang, Kattupalli, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Karachi, Jeddah, Damietta, Piraeus, Genoa, Valencia, Barcelona, Piraeus, Damietta, Jeddah, Karachi, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Kattupali, Singapore, Dachan Bay, Busan. MSC introduces 13,000 teu ships on new FE-Med Dragon service

MSC has launched its new Far East-Med Dragon service on 13 March 2023 with the 13,102 teu MSC PERLE at Shanghai. SeaLead has launched a new Five Seas Express (5CX) service connecting Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Port Klang, Jeddah, Damietta, Ambarli, (Misurata - irregular), Damietta, Jeddah, Port Klang, Qingdao.
