Maersk and MSC have suspended their jointly operated TP3/Sequoia transpacific service, with the last sailing made by the 14,036 teu MSC SAVONA from Shanghai on 22 September 2022. The service called at Ningbo, Shanghai, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Ningbo using 6 ships of 11,000-15,000 teu running on an 8 week rotation. MSC will launch a new Pertiwi service that connects Busan, Qingdao, Incheon, Dalian, Xingang, Cai Mep, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Jakarta, Panjang, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Busan from 8 July 2022. 5 ships of 2,500 teu are expected to be deployed on this service that will turn in 35 days, starting with the 2,526 teu CARDIFF TRADER that will join the service on 8 July at Busan under its new MSC name. MSC will launch a new Bengal Service connecting South China and Bangladesh. The service will start on 27 April with the 1,732 teu MSC KYMEA from Hong Kong. The service calls at Hong Kong, Yantian, Shekou, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Chittagong, Singapore, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong and will deploy 4 ships of 1,600-2,000 teu.
